Answer 1 of 34: I am thinking 7 days total of a trip to Prague and Vienna. May 28th till June 5th. Thinking of flying out of CVG in Cincinati to Prague and then after a few days to Vienna and finally back to CVG from Vienna.

Prague is a fantastic city to live - i am comparing 27 years living in Germany. There's 0% (!) unemployment rate in Prague, the public transportation is working and in Prague the most people are speaking better English than e.g. in Stuttgart/Germany. Prague is full of culture, activities, definitely anything else then boring.
Walk down the Golden Lane*, a street filled with small, colorful houses that were once the homes of Prague Castleās goldsmiths and servants. Tour the Lobkowicz Palace*, the only privately owned building in the Prague Castle with its own family art collection. Watch the changing of the guard every day at 12 pm.
Olya and I filled 10 days in October, no problem. Do some city walking/exploring, throw in a river cruise, some shopping, a museum, an opera, and a couple of day trips (Kutna Hora and Dresden are exciting day trips), and your week will be gone. Budapest is a bit too far. 4.
There were areas of Prague, well outside the tourist district, that I found more enjoyable. In fact, I stayed in the Prague 3/Zizkov area, so well outside the Old Town. And I did spend a day wandering around Novy Svet(took the trolley up the hill to the castle and walked back), which was much more enjoyable.

Florence & Tuscany. Spend one week in the heart of Italy. Florence is the art capital of the world, filled with some of the best art museums in Europe. Itās also a beautiful city to wander, with towers to climb, places to go shopping, and lots of gelato to eat. After you had your fill of Florence, journey into Tuscany.
